Often at work I laugh to myself as the thoughts of Egyptian grave robbers come to mind.
On one of my personal expeditions I unearthed this book, and was instantly intrigued. As I opened this old copy it was almost as if the sands of the deserts within blew into my face.
Stories with in a story, this book could be a good read for entertaining purposes, a great read for inspiration. Or, if read in the right spirit, this tale could be a priceless read for self revelation.
The Alchemist, helped to shine a light in my moments of self reflection that showed me dusty corners of my soul that needed attention. I laughed, and I pondered. I found myself longing to be alone with God. To glimpse his creations as he see's them.
I hope you enjoy the journey as well.
"The wise men understood that this natural world is only an image and a copy of paradise. The existence of this world is simply a guarantee that there exists a world that is perfect. God created the world so that, through its visible objects, men could understand his spiritual teachings and the marvels of this wisdom."

You have an amazing ability to put into words "as if the sands of the deserts within blew into my face"

She's right, how do you people think of saying things like that, putting things so eloquently, and just right? She may not know it, but Jenn-Lee has the same gift. Anyway, that book has been on my "to read" list, I should go get it from the library.
Daniel,
