I'm not to sure how I feel about this book. Being one who believes in a pre-earth life, I still have many questions about this book, and have a hard time accepting a divine origin or mandate behind its writing as it claims. Saying that though I read it quickly and will most likely read it again prayerfully to sift the wheat from the tares of it's contents.
Some issues that I have with this book as a reliable source of anything divine are:
- It fails to follow Gods Law of Witnesses. (Deut 17:26)
- Mr Roy Mills seems to have felt told to write it when he was at an age that many of his childhood stories couldn't be confirmed.
- He failed to keep a journal of these experiences as they happened, or as he "remembered" them. He states that he never wrote them down until this book. He may really just have a good imagination, or have drawn on source material from other Near Death Experiences and applied it too our pre-earth life.
- Mr. Mills describes flowers as "intelligence's" and describes an ability to communicate with all intelligence.
- Mr Mills describes a distinction between the Father and the Son, being two separate individuals. However he fails to follow the description in Heb 1:3 of the Son being in the express[exact, precise] image of the Father.
- Mr. Mills use of "councils" in heaven was interesting
- Mr. Mills description of the architecture of Heaven I did find most inspiring, there was much of his descriptions that I believe could be true.

I would be interested to hear from any who have read this book. What are your thoughts. Most specifically I would be interested to see how other Southern Baptists have received the work of Mr. Mills, since that is what I have read is his spiritual background.
I have enjoyed this book as well , as you know. I too found it very interesting with points I believe could be very true and others I am not so sure of. I enjoyed reading your review of it. You are a great writer with the ability to write your thoughts in great detail and organization. I love you.
