We are more alike than we are different.

The image below is an image of a Persian/Iranian Garden known as The Court of the Lions. I was taken back by the beauty of the Garden, but my mind focused most of all on the center piece. 12 Lions each outward facing baring a bowl of water on their backs...

My mind immediatly saw a connection between this symbolism and that of the ancient Hebrews and their 12 oxen holding a pool of water on their backs. Today in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we have the same thing in our Temples as this image from the Salt Lake City Temple shows.

The more I learn the more convinced I am that we as a Human Family are more alike than we are different.
